TeachNC launched in 2019 as a collaboration between the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, BEST NC and TEACH.org. Since then, we’ve built strong partnerships with school districts, teaching programs and other organizations across the state. The initiative is made possible thanks to our generous philanthropic funders.
TEACH.org began in 2015 with clear goals: Reduce the national teacher shortage, elevate the image of the teaching profession and support anyone interested in becoming a teacher. TEACH has since grown into one of the nation’s largest and most effective teacher recruitment organizations.
