The Carteret County Public School System is made up of 18 public schools along 85 miles of beautiful, friendly coastal towns. We are dedicated to engaging, educating and supporting our nearly 8,000 students, who are the future of our coastal community. From Cedar Island to Cedar Point, we focus on keeping our schools safe, offering 21st-century skills through STEM and digital learning, and helping students develop essential reading, writing and life skills.
