The North Carolina Leadership Academy (NCLA), located in Forsyth County, is in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Forsyth County has been voted in the top 10% in North Carolina as the best county to live, the best for families and for young professionals. The NCLA consistently performs well above state and local average in academic areas. The existing school facilities are less than five years old with ongoing new construction to allow growth for separate middle and high school buildings.

The NCLA strives to provide a family atmosphere for staff and students. Various opportunities for professional development exist within and outside the school. We offer a mentoring program for new teachers within their first three years of teaching. Our school values teacher collaboration and time is built into our monthly meeting schedule to allow for grade level and vertical teaming.

Our school offers Teacher Cadet programs which allows students to explore teaching as a profession through hands on opportunities through a credit course.
