Stanly County Schools is student and teacher-centered, with strong mentoring and beginning teacher support programs. We partner with nearby universities to bring quality professional development to our teachers as well as providing opportunities for teacher leadership and growth within the profession.

Stanly County Schools provides a three-tier teacher supplement schedule based upon experience and degree level. Supplements range from $2070.00 - $2670 per year. Additionally, Coaches of Athletics are paid a stipend and all employees have a free membership to the YMCA. We have a signing bonus for newly hired math, science, and EC teachers.

Stanly County Schools offers a Teacher Cadet class for students who are interested in becoming teachers.
