ECU’s Educator Residency Model (ERM) is a cohort model designed to assist residency candidates to meet residency licensure requirements. ERM participants can complete coursework in 6 courses (18 hours) with continuous enrollment. ECU has a long standing history of working with alternative licensure populations and our residency program option is currently assisting over 1,500 residency candidates across the state. The ECU residency program is prepared to help you obtain your teacher licensure. Prior to applying, potential candidates should contact alternativelicensure@ecu.edu to complete a FREE intake application and determine eligibility into the ECU Residency Program.
